CHARTERED Bus Transportation & Alternate ways to get to / from camp
We arrange reliable, optional transportation to camp from Newark International Airport (84 miles) and from midtown Manhattan (89 miles). Just reserve and pay for your seat when you register or add them later if you need to catch a ride. Buses depart on time, and the trip is about 2 hours, so plan your flights accordingly. Fares are $70* each way.
Schedule your flight to arrive at least one (1) hour before the bus is scheduled to depart if you're flying into Newark International Airport, please. We cannot hold the bus for those that arrive within the scheduled bus departure time.

Newark International Airport | departure from Terminal B, Lower Level Baggage claim, Meet across from Carousel 1 & 3. If you arrive in Terminal A, you may need to take a shuttle bus to Terminal B (depending on airport construction progress). Check airport signs upon arrival for any updates.

There is NO bus departing on Wednesday either into Manhattan or Newark International Airport. Please make your own travel arrangements. (see "Alternate ways to get to / from camp" for detailed information (below).

Alternate ways to get to / from camp
Getting to camp:
If you miss the bus in Manhattan or Newark International or are planning to come to camp on a day that we’re not running chartered buses and need a ride to camp, here’s how you can find your way:
Assuming you don’t rent a car and drive yourself, take the subway from Newark International airport or from wherever you are in New York and go to New York Port Authority on 8th Ave & 41st streets. Purchase a bus ticket to Stroudsburg PA (there are two stops, either stop is fine). Once the bus stops in Stroudsburg, call an Uber or taxi and they will take you to camp.
Leaving camp:
If you are leaving camp on a day that we are not running buses and you didn’t drive and need to head back into the city or to the airport, call a local taxi or Uber and they will pick you up at camp (meet by the Front Gate, only) and take you to one of the bus stations in Stroudsburg. Once you’re at the bus station, you can purchase a ticket from Martz Trailways to head back into Manhattan. When you’re back in Manhattan, you can take a subway or taxi to the airport(s).
You can request an Uber or Lyft to take you to the bus station in Stroudsburg or to the airport in Newark. Rates, times, and availability varies so plan accordingly.
Pickup Location:
If you order a taxi, Uber, or Lyft, you will meet your ride at the Front Gate. Outside transportation services will not be permitted to enter the camp property beyond the Front Gate while our event is in progress. You can ask for assistance to help move your luggage to the Front Gate by seeing anyone in the main Camp Office.
