The Gathering

The NEXT GNI Gathering will be held August 21 – 30, 2015.  Registration will open in early 2015.

Welcome to The Gathering!

Discover the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania, in the buff, in a rustic summer camp setting.

With up to 800 guests, our flagship annual Gathering is the world’s largest all-nude event. It’s open to all gay, bisexual, and gay-friendly men who are at least 21 and a current member of GNI.

The Gathering (officially known as The Annual International Gathering of Male Naturists) is the largest organized nude rendezvous in the world. What began as a small group of 40 fellows in 1985 now attracts up to 800 men annually. Since the early 1990s we’ve been letting it all hang out at a spacious, 350-acre summer camp in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania.

While most campers hail from the US, we welcome guests from around the world including Europe, Central and South America, Asia and Australia. For most of us, The Gathering is more of a reunion than a vacation, with many familiar faces returning every year.

Meals are served in two large dining halls, each with a large stone fireplace and an outdoor campfire to warm your bits on cool Pocono nights. The property also includes a 13-acre lake, two heated swimming pools, an auditorium, a nightly dance club, and countless recreational opportunities. GNI does offer limited WiFi, although the network is unsecured and we can’t offer technical assistance.

For your own security, we won’t disclose the specific location until we have received your registration form and payment, but then you’ll receive a full package including maps, driving directions and a checklist of what to bring. For those flying in, Newark is the preferred airport, and we provide limited bus service from Newark airport and Manhattan.

Body Electric Workshop

The NEXT GNI Gathering will be held August 21 – 30, 2015. Registration will open in early 2015.

GNI will once again offer the Celebrating the Body Erotic (CBE) introductory workshop by the Body Electric School during The Gathering in 2015. Here are some preliminary details, subject to change.

The Body Electric School workshops can help you experience your potential as a fully-integrated, loving, and self-aware being through personal growth exercises, touch, massage, conscious breath, and honoring the wisdom of the body.  Come experience deeper, conscious connection with men in a safe, healthy, and playful setting. We raise erotic energy, but this is not sex. Most men find this work to be rejuvenating, uplifting, and healing.

Watch the CBE video clip on the Body Electric homepage or on YouTube.

Read more information about the CBE workshop here.

Questions? Contact the BE local coordinator, Nick Padilla, at philadelphia@b-e-school.com.

SCHEDULE

CBE is a great way to begin your Gathering. The CBE workshop will be held on Early Arrival weekend, from Friday to Sunday, August 21-23, 2015. It starts with an evening session on Friday, and continues all day Saturday and Sunday. Workshop participants should plan to arrive at The Gathering before dinner on Friday, August 21 with a commitment to attending the entire workshop. It will be an experience you will never forget!

FACILITATOR

The course will be led by Steve Schwartzberg, longtime Body Electric faculty member and friend of GNI. Read more about Steve here.

SPACE IS LIMITED!

The class size is limited, so please sign up as soon as possible.

WORKSHOP TUITION

The workshop tuition is separate from the Gathering registration fee, and GNI members qualify for a discounted tuition (15% off the regular price). The workshop fee and discounts will be announced with Gathering registration begins in 2015.

Some tuition assistance is available based on need.  Contact the BE local coordinator, Nick Padilla, at philadelphia@b-e-school.com.

GNI GATHERING ATTENDANCE

To attend the CBE workshop, you must choose a Gathering attendance option that includes Early Arrival weekend. Gathering prices include housing, all meals and beverages, and regular Gathering programming, activities, and entertainment.  Attendance options and prices will be announced before Gathering registration begins in 2015, but make plans now to include Early Arrival weekend!

LODGING

CBE participants may stay in a cabin with fellow participants or in a different cabin (to be with your friends or to be in a certain part of the campground, etc.). You can select your housing and cabin theme preference on your registration form.

Any workshop participant that decides to extend his stay beyond the weekend will be gladly accommodated, although it may be necessary to move to a different cabin. At any time after you register for The Gathering and before the end of the workshop, contact or visit the GNI Business Office (located on-site during The Gathering) to upgrade to a standard GNI membership and a longer attendance option.

REGISTRATION

To attend Celebrating the Body Erotic (CBE) on August 21-23, 2015, you must register for the GNI Gathering.  You will select your attendance options during the registration process. By selecting a CBE workshop registration option, you agree to the Body Electric School Policies.

If you prefer not to wait until 2015 to attend a CBE workshop, visit www.thebodyelectricschool.com for workshops offered sooner.

Show us your brain: Daytime Workshops
Topics include men’s health issues, legal issues affecting naturists, relationships, and a number of of interesting discussion topics or lectures. Nature hikes and other workshops round out the educational activities.

Naked Yoga Immersion
Naked yoga has long been a staple of Gathering programming, along with other health and wellness offerings. This year, we are having more yoga than ever before. GNI has lined up talented yoga instructors, some of them certified, to teach nearly two dozen classes at The Gathering in a variety of styles. Get yoga class and faculty info

Daytime Diversions
Enjoy bridge, yoga, aerobics, volleyball, a fully equipped nude gym and weight room, canoe and drag races, oil wrestling or just relax at the pool and read a book.

Social Hours, 5 – 6-ish PM daily
Savor wine, beer, soft drinks and snacks in a beautiful lakeside setting. Every party has a theme, and costumes are encouraged! So plan ahead and undress to impress! While this event can be an eyeful, please respect GNI’s photo policy.

Member clubs are invited to ‘sponsor’ a social hour. There is no cost to you and we provide the beverages and snacks. We simply need two (2) members manning the wine bar at any given time! In exchange you can hang your banner, set out brochures, hand out invitations to cabin parties and your sponsorship will be mentioned in The Daily Informer (GNI’s official schedule of events). We even let you pick the theme! Let the Business Office know if you’re interested.

The Sunset Strip
Evening activities include nightly shows, contests, parties, movies, snacks, and the world-class Dance Club – with an impressive sound system and light show – into the wee hours.

Evening Entertainment
Evenings feature talent shows and pageants such as Miss Lace, Mr. GNI Leather, Mr. Bare Bear, and Mr. GNI. These are well-produced events that are sure to entertain and delight you. There’s also a nightly movie series after the main show.

We’ll also hand out prizes and awards throughout the week.

Big Bids: The NAC Auction
To help raise funds for the Naturist Action Committee (NAC), bring us an item you’d like to donate, and help us fetch top dollar for it through our silent auctions. Bob Morton, NAC Executive Director, will speak to the group about the anti-nudity opposition NAC works hard to overcome, including legal issues and nude beaches.  Or if you would like to make a donation, contact the GNI Business Office any time.

Big Entertainment!
In addition to the amazing talent that our members bring to The Gathering, you can expect to see some professional talent, often of the gay and naked variety, brought in from across the country. Some you might not expect to see – naked!

We have spaces for Tents & RVs. Sewer, water, and electrical hookups are not available, although you will be assigned nearby shower and bathroom privileges. Each member in your tent or RV must register individually.

Volunteer Opportunities

The NEXT GNI Gathering will be held August 21 – 30, 2015. Registration will open in early 2015.

Are you interested in volunteering but really have NO idea what GNI needs to make The Gathering run great? We’ve put together a list of volunteer opportunities with short “job” descriptions for you to peruse. If there is a position that you’re interested in filling, please click immediately below to submit your interest.

Volunteer form

A good number of the positions are filled on a “first-come” basis; however, there are a few positions that will be filled after interested candidates have submitted their form and the candidates have been either interviewed or screened by the Event Coordinator or position’s manager. Depending on the position, a successful candidate will receive either a Gathering reimbursement of some predetermined amount or a complimentary one-year, membership*. If there is an activity or event you would like to organize that is not listed, by all means, we are interested in hearing from you. Simply fill out the Volunteer Form with your idea and the Event Coordinator will be in contact with you to discuss your idea.

Once a listed position is full, no additional submissions will be taken. All decisions are final by the Event Coordinator or other named person. Changes will be made only if a volunteer cancels and vacates a position or other extenuating circumstances arise that are beyond a volunteer’s control.

Certain positions will have a post-Gathering evaluation conducted to determine a candidate’s performance and suitability for future consideration. Specific questions can be sent to the Event Coordinator.

The following positions are listed in alphabetic order. Either click on a link or scroll through the page to read more detail of what is required. Click on Return in order to jump back to the top of the page. Please note: if you’ve held a position in the past, it does not guarantee that you will automatically be awarded the position again; therefore, everyone is encouraged to submit their letter of interest on the Volunteer Form. All factors will be considered in determining who will be chosen.

* Memberships will be awarded after the successful completion of a volunteer’s time at the conclusion of The Gathering.

Cancellation requests received after July 15 will be refunded per the following schedule:

  • Jul 16-Jul 31: 50% penalty (less $109 cancellation fee)

Any member who submits a check for annual dues, The Gathering, or GNI store items that is returned for NSF will be assessed a $45 service charge from GNI, and money owed as a result of an NSF check or credit card charge-back may result in suspension of membership until payment has been made.

GNI PHOTO POLICY
Please respect and abide by these rules, question those who may be misinformed, and, if you cannot resolve an issue, contact a Board member immediately.

  • Still cameras may be used unless otherwise announced. It is the photographer’s responsibility to request permission of anyone in frame before taking a photograph. If there is any objection, please delete or destroy the picture immediately.
  • Videos and other recordings may only be taken with the written permission of GNI and all parties involved (including those in the background).
  • No photo, video or other recording of GNI-sponsored events may be posted online without the express, written permission of those involved and GNI.
  • Recordings, photos or videos my not be taken of or by anyone with a red dot/card (“no photo”) name badge.
  • If you’re wearing a red dot/card (“no photo”) name badge, do not place yourself in situations where you can expect photos will be taken, and note you may not participate in high profile contests, shows and activities.
  • The Dance Club is a “No Photo” zone.
  • Special events with photo sessions may be scheduled, but must be pre-approved by the Board.
  • Recording equipment, aside from anything providing entertainment at the Dance Club, will not be allowed on the premises without Board pre-approval. This includes, but is not limited to, handheld cellular devices, video cameras, still cameras, tape recorders, voice memo recorders and streaming media.
  • Social hours are considered GNI-sponsored activities, so our photo policy is in effect.
  • Clearly defined photo zones will be created, where your presence will constitute approval for photos taken.
  • Violators of this policy may be expelled from the camp without refund, and any video or photos may be confiscated and destroyed.

ACTS OF WAR AND NATURAL DISASTERS
In the event The Gathering is cancelled, postponed or cannot be held due to acts of war, natural disaster, hurricanes, floods or other weather emergencies, public unrest, terrorism, or other causes beyond the reasonable control of GNI, GNI shall not be obligated to refund any Gathering registration fees, either in full or in part, unless approved on a case-by-case basis by the Board of Directors of GNI. We recommend you purchase travel insurance from an authorized agent.

CHECK-IN
Please arrive at or after the check-in time found on your FRONT GATE PASS. The gate will otherwise be closed and monitored by security. There will be no check-in between the hours of 11PM and 7AM.

WiFi
WiFi access is available in limited areas, although the network is unsecured. Information sent to or from your device can be captured by anyone else with a wireless device and appropriate software, within the range of the access point. We cannot provide technical assistance and are unable guarantee a wireless connection.

WEATHER
The Gathering site takes place in the Pocono Mountains of Eastern Pennsylvania. Evenings can be cool, and it may even rain, so plan accordingly. Forecasts will be posted daily on the information board by the camp’s main office.

CASH AND VALUABLES
Registration fees cover all your expenses for the week. There is no need to bring large sums of cash, although you may want to shop at the GNI Craft Fair or purchase something at the Naturist Action Committee auction.  Credit cards are accepted at the GNI store and auction.  Please leave valuables at home as we do not provide a safe, locked room, or secure area.  You can, however, purchase a portable safe at a nearby office supply store and keep it with you in your cabin.

I have read, understand and AGREE to all of GNI's published Terms & Conditions to register for the GNI Gathering.

Registration Help

Following is an example of a group that might form.

The following 7 hypothetical people have submitted their registration and all have submitted the same names:

                Person A              Registered May 15, 10am

                Person B              Registered July 17, 2:30pm

                Person C              Registered June 6, 4:23am

                Person D              Registered August 15, 1:27pm

                Person E              Registered May 15, 9:35am

                Person F              Registered July 15, 11:55pm

                Person G             Registered July 15, 11:59pm

The groups are identified as the following:

Group 1:

                Person E

                Person A

                Person C

                Person F

Person E, as the first person who registered gets to include Persons A, C, and F in his group.  They are removed from the pool of names for everyone else and cannot be claimed by others.  Everyone in this group of 4 will receive the 4-person rate for the attendance option they have chosen.

This leaves the following group:

Group 2:

                Person G

This person will pay the 1-person rate for the attendance option he has chosen.

Persons B and D will also pay the 1-person rate and will not be eligible for a group discount since both of them did not register by end of day on July 15.  On July 16, the group discount goes away and everyone who registers after on or after July 16 will pay the 1-person rate.

What about Person G?  Why does he get assessed the 1-person rate and how can he change this?  First, he can register sooner than later.  Had he registered sooner, he would have moved up in the rank of Person E’s group and would have displaced Person F if his registration was received before July 15 at 11:55pm.  If he had done that, Person G would have displaced Person F; Person G would get the 4-person discount and Person 4 would pay the 1-person rate.  Also, he can also recruit other people to join his group and get them to register by July 15 to ensure he and others receive the biggest discount available.

The goal is to get other people to come to the Gathering, not give blanket discounts to everyone.  If that was the case, we would have just set the discounted pricing for everyone and not have a group discount offer this year.  Members should make an active effort to recruit others to come and the reward is the discount.  We acknowledge that no one can force someone to register by July 15 which is the reason we encourage members to find groups larger than four, but keeping in mind that only the first 4 who register in chronological date/time succession will receive the discount for that group.  Groups larger than four will start their own group and be assessed the rate for the number in their group, up to 4.  As a further incentive, we are also offering the first-timer’s referral rebate and under 35 year old discount on top of any group rate that may be calculated.

To make this very easy, if everyone registered by July 15 in groups of multiples of four, everyone would get the 4-person rate.

In other words, there are two rules of thumb in getting the best rate for any of the posted attendance options:

A). round your group up to a multiple of 4

B). everyone register by July 15.

All men who are attending The Gathering must register for one of the posted attendance options. Though we don’t offer “day passes” in the strictest sense of the term, we may offer a shortened attendance option entitled, “Naked Getaway™” for those that would like to join us for an abbreviated stay.
You are free to arrive or leave any time during the period for which you are registered. Discounts or refunds cannot be prorated nor issued for any unused portion of time that has been paid. Unused time is also not transferable to any person.
No. Unused portions of time are not transferable to any person. A full week attendance option may not be shared by two individuals. Each must register separately for the period of time he intends to stay.
Yes, a GNI-managed installment plan is not available for 2013.  Installment payments can be made directly to your bank-issued credit card.
You will receive your Gathering Confirmation Documents for The Gathering within a few days after receipt of payment in full. We encourage you to register ONLINE or to mail your registration materials to the Business Office by Certified Mail in order to ensure that your forms have been received. When you register online, you can rest assured that your registration has been received in the GNI Business Office.
Unless there is a problem with your registration form or form of payment, you will not be notified that your registration form has been received in the Business Office if you’ve mailed your form. Your official notice of receipt will be the distribution of your Gathering Confirmation Documents that will be uploaded to your profile and e-mail notice from the Business Office that your documents are ready to be retrieved.
You can expect your Gathering Confirmation Documents within a few days after the Business Office receives your payment in full. In most instances, especially for those that register electronically, Gathering documents are available much sooner.
No, your housing location will not be provided to you until you arrive at camp and receive your registration packet materials. Remember, there are no guarantees for specific housing requests; thus, your Confirmation documents will not confirm your housing.
No, your Confirmation Documents confirms your entrance into camp, only. It will not confirm with whom you will be housed, even if you’ve requested to be housed with a particular person(s) or group.
Yes, as long as there are no objections from your cabin mates and the cabin allows for beds to be moved.  Some cabins have movable shelves that allow beds to be placed together, while other cabins have shelves that are permanently installed and cannot be moved.

No, the Board of Directors has waived the late fee for everyone in 2013.
Yes, only GNI members may attend our annual Gathering. You can become a member at the time you register for The Gathering by including your membership fee with your payment. YES! We are offering a Group Discount (up to 4 people) who register by July 15.

  • Prices listed are per person and will be honored for registrations submitted through July 15, 2013.
  • Up to four (4) people per group may qualify for a graduated discount for any combination of attendance options. Each person must submit an individual registration. They do not necessarily have to be housed together, although they may request that in the housing section of their respective registration forms.
  • All registrants are eligible for group rates. Additional discounts or rebates may be available under certain other qualifications.
  • Each registrant will be charged the 1 PERSON rate (i.e., full price) at his initial registration, and will have until July 15 either to create and finalize his group or to be identified as part of a group initiated by someone else.
  • All members of a group must be registered by July 15. Anyone missing that deadline will not be eligible to receive or be factored into the group rate. Credits for each group will be calculated and applied AFTER July 15 for the qualifying number of members per the table below.
  • If a member of a group later cancels his registration, its other members will not be affected; they’ll keep the discount for which their group originally qualified. Any refund to the registrant who is cancelling will be determined according to GNI’s published Refund Policy.
If you register online, you will not have a need for a printed registration form. However, you will be able to find downloadable forms from this website and forms in the Informer. We encourage you to photocopy the registration form or forward the Registration Packet to your friends who may want to attend our Gathering as well.
GNI plans special events and/or activities during the week. If you would like to help defray the cost to GNI of special events, please indicate on this line and include the amount in your payment. All donations are always optional; they are never mandatory.
This fund was created to assist our international members who are attending The Gathering in need of defraying their additional cost for travel & currency exchanges. All donations are always optional; they are never mandatory.
Each group / club cabin has a Cabin Coordinator assigned to it. Your cabin coordinator will be responsible for arranging the housing in your cabin and he will communicate the group list to the Business Office. If you have questions regarding your group housing, please contact your Cabin Coordinator instead of the Business Office. If you want to be in a group cabin and are on your cabin coordinator’s list but do not register for The Gathering before July 15, you may not be placed in the group cabin of your choice. All group cabins are required to have their cabin mates registered for The Gathering by July 15. Registrants who do not register by July 15 may not be housed in their group cabin!
Of course! You may tent if the weather is nice or if you just want to find a private spot away from your cabin.
You are welcome to bring friends to stay in your RV. However, each person who attends The Gathering must register separately. Unregistered friends who plan to stay in an RV will not be allowed entrance into camp.

Yes, you may. Access and complete the online Gathering Volunteer & Participation Form. You will be contacted by the Event Coordinator.
For any additional questions about registration for The Gathering, please contact the GNI Administrator.
Housing Questions
You will receive your official housing assignment when you arrive at camp and receive your registration materials.
These things happen for a variety of reasons. First, your friend may have registered after you or after the cut-off date for specific housing requests. Housing is assigned on a first-come basis so if he is not in the same cabin as you have requested, it may be due to the late submission of his registration. Or he may not have requested to be housed with you, but with someone else. GNI makes an effort to ensure housing requests are fulfilled, but due to the complexity of The Gathering’s housing accommodations, we cannot guarantee specific housing requests to anyone.
Housing near the dance club may be due to the date the GNI Business Office received your registration form. Or it may be that you’ve requested to be housed with one or more friends. Since the majority of cabins are “club” cabins, in order to accommodate your special request, a cabin with sufficient space must be found. Oftentimes, it is the cabins nearest the dance club where new or small groups can be placed.
You can ask to be placed elsewhere but the availability of openings in a particular cabin or area of camp is affected by a lot of variables. You may see the Business Administrator to assist you while at camp.
You may speak to any member of the GNI Staff or Board of Directors if you have a particular problem with a cabin mate. You will be able to recognize them by the BLUE name badge they will be wearing.
We will make accommodations available to guys who are tenting if inclement weather prevails throughout the week and we will announce what facility is available for them at The Gathering.
For any additional questions about housing, please contact the GNI Administrator.
Bus Questions
Contact Rick, GNI Adminstrator. He can be reached by calling (954) 567-2700. You may also reach him by emailing the GNI Business Office.
The airport is divided into two levels: the Upper Terminal level and the Lower Baggage Claim / Transportation level. Make your way to the Lowest Level of Terminal B. A map of Newark Airport will be included in your Bus Confirmation.
Yes, but only if your refund request is made in writing before August 1.
Please submit your cancellation request in writing to the GNI Business Office via e-mail, by mail, or by fax at (954) 567-2070. Cancellation requests made by telephone cannot be processed. There is a $5 cancellation fee (per trip) for all cancelled bus reservations.
If you’ve paid for bus transportation by credit card, you will receive your refund within 10-business days. If you’ve paid for bus transportation by check or money order, your refund will not be processed until 30 days after the date of your request.
Yes, Bus Confirmation letters are issued after August 1. Your bus confirmation will include directions to the location where you need to meet the group as well as a map of the airport for you to find your way to the bus pickup location. Please do not contact the GNI Business Office prior to August 1 to inquire about your bus. If you don’t receive a confirmation by August 10, please let the GNI Business Office know at that time.
Please call your bus coordinator first or the GNI telephone number which will be forwarded to the Office Administrator. We will make every attempt to ensure the bus will not depart until everyone is present and accounted for, but we cannot guarantee that we will hold a bus if a flight is cancelled or delayed for a few hours. If you miss the bus, we can not accommodate individuals who can not make his scheduled bus and it will be up to you to get yourself to camp or to take a public transportation bus to Stroudsburg. If you arrive in Stroudsburg, you will be able to contact a local taxi service to pick you up from the bus station and to bring you to camp. For more information about the bus service into Stroudsburg, please visit Martz Trailways. In order to take public transportation into Stroudsburg, you will need to get from Newark Airport to Port Authority in lower Manhattan.  For rates and information about taxi service, visit Pocono Cab Company.
The bus ride from Newark Airport is approximately 2 hours, depending upon traffic, road construction, and weather conditions. You may add an additional 30 – 45 minutes for the bus ride to / from Manhattan in New York City. Please allow additional time to be processed through the security checkpoints at the airports.
A one-way trip on the bus costs $45 per person. Round trip is $90 per person.
If you register online at our web site, you will also be able to reserve a seat on the buses at the time you submit your registration. However, The Gathering Registration forms will include a form entitled “Bus Transportation”. Please fill this out completely and return it to the Business Office with your GNI Gathering Registration form and payment. Your bus fees will be included as an additional line item that you will pay for when you register for The Gathering.
Yes, you may.  GNI will make every effort to reserve a seat for you, but cannot guarantee that a seat will be available at a certain time if the registration is received late in the season. Payment for late bus registrations after July 15 will be taken by credit card or money orders, only.
No. You may sit anywhere you’d like.
On the Bus Transportation Registration form, please provide the name(s) of the guy(s) you would like to ride with. Obviously, it is important that you all arrive at the bus pickup location at approximately the same time.
There are two bus sizes — 47 and 54 passengers. The appropriate sized bus will be planned based on the total number of reservations.  There is also plenty of room for luggage in the storage compartments.
Unfortunately, no. Clothing must be worn on the bus to and from camp.
Typically the bus will arrive approximately 10 – 15 minutes early. If you arrive before the bus does, please be patient and do not panic. The bus will arrive and a bus greeter will be there to assist you with your questions and concerns.
The bus will wait as necessary, but typically not more than 5 – 10 minutes if you’re confirmed for a particular bus. This is why it is necessary to make sure that you either cancel or confirm your bus reservation; otherwise, the bus may be waiting for someone who’s listed to ride, but isn’t going to show. If there are numerous flight delays caused by weather conditions, strikes, or matters beyond GNI’s control, a bus may wait for a longer period of time to ensure that delayed passengers have a ride to camp.  Mobile phone numbers of the bus greeters will be provided so be sure to touch base with them if you are going to experience any delays.
If your flight does not arrive in Terminal B, you’ll need to take the Airport Passenger Train to Terminal B. Follow the signs in each terminal to locate the passenger train. Once you are in Terminal B, make your way to the Lowest Level where parking is located (follow the airport signs to this area). The bus will be parked outside of this terminal.
GNI recommends that you take a cab. The bus will meet everyone in New York City – downtown Manhattan near Grand Central Station – Hyatt Hotel, west side pickup on Lexington between 42nd & 43rd Streets. This location is within walking distance of Grand Central Station station. Click here for a map to this pick up location => Map of 43rd St & Lexington New York, NY.
There will be a bus greeter for each Newark Airport bus. He may be wearing a GNI t-shirt, baseball cap, or some other identifying mark. He will be found at the Lowest Level of Terminal B. The bus greeter for Manhattan will also be wearing an identifying mark.
Yes. You may change your reservation as many times as you’d like up until two weeks before The Gathering is scheduled to begin, depending upon availability of seats for the time you are requesting. Be sure to contact the GNI Business Office for any changes. Changes made after August 1 may be assessed a $5 administrative change fee.
No. But it will help you check in with the bus greeter. Each confirmation letter will have a confirmation number and will be matched up against the reservations made for a particular bus and time. There is also a map of the airport on the confirmation letter that you may find helpful in assisting you to locate the GNI group if it’s your first time attending our Gathering.
Typically, enough buses are dispatched to handle each departure at each location. There is one bus that will depart from the scheduled departure locations each day. Of course, the outgoing departure from camp has three (3) departure options.
You may bring all of your luggage on the bus, although the bus is nearly at capacity with baggage when most of the seats are full. We do ask that any smaller bags that can be carried on the bus (and stored overhead or under the seat) be taken with you to help ease the loading of the main cargo compartments under the bus. We suggest that, if you intend to bring a lot of items to camp and are registering to take the bus, you ship your items via a common carrier to camp. Contact the GNI Business Office for a shipping address and instructions.
For any additional questions about bus transportation, please contact the GNI Business Office.
