Every male naturist club, recognizing its mutual interest in male naturism with Gay Naturists International, Inc. (GNI), may request to be designated in GNI’s publications and on GNI’s website as GNI-affiliated. Once its affiliation application is approved, a club may also describe itself as GNI-affiliated in its literature and publications and on its web site. GNI affiliation offers additional benefits.
Club affiliation with GNI is free of charge.
Before you apply to affiliate your club with GNI, please note the following:
GNI asks only that you complete and sign the GNI Affiliation Questionnaire & Agreement, affirming that your group’s principal function is as a male naturist club.
Your club agrees to a mutual exchange of newsletters with GNI. Exchange of your newsletter with other clubs in your region is encouraged, but not mandatory.
You must also acknowledge receipt of a copy of the GNI Bylaws.
Your club has the right to designate a representative from your club to an Advisory Council that GNI could form to provide input to GNI on local club issues.
Your club understands that, by receipt of written request, either party may terminate this agreement at any time.
This is a PDF file, which requires Adobe® Reader® installed on your computer. If you don’t have it or haven’t updated it in a while, you may download the latest version for free.
Affiliated clubs may mention their GNI-affiliated status in their newsletter and other promotional materials and on their web site. Through its affiliation agreement with GNI, a club certifies that its naturist philosophy is aligned with that of GNI, and it is committed to an ongoing exchange of newsletters with GNI.
Free web hosting on GNI server
Three basic or standard hosting plans are now available to GNI-affiliated clubs for free. Upgraded hosting plans are offered to affiliated clubs at discounted rates. Never worry again about being hassled for legal, non-pornographic nude content! For details, contact the GNI Business Office.
Rebates for new GNI memberships
GNI will rebate US $5 to any affiliated club for each new GNI membership that the club generates. Of course, renewals of current or recently expired GNI memberships are not eligible. If someone whose GNI membership has lapsed for at least one year rejoins GNI through this promotion, however, the sponsoring club will be eligible for the rebate on his new membership. Affiliated clubs are each assigned a unique code to provide in their promotion of GNI, and they can receive GNI brochures and/or other handout materials at no cost to them.
Whether the new member joins online or via a paper registration, he will need to provide the promotional code of the affiliated club through which he is joining. GNI will keep track of new members gained through the club promotion and will periodically send a check for accumulated rebates to each club that has earned them. Since the club does not have to purchase anything and new members pay GNI directly, there is no risk for anyone involved, only upside potential.
We envision that local clubs will identify community centers, book and coffee shops, gyms, bars, and other appropriate venues that have literature racks where they can place GNI brochures and/or other handout materials along with their own, if they so choose. They should mark the GNI membership application form inside each brochure with their assigned promotional code and monitor those locations for restocking. Clubs may also promote GNI membership in their newsletters, on their web sites, and at their meetings and events.
Contact the GNI Business Office with any questions or to request GNI brochures and/or other handout materials.
Club profile and event listings in GNI’s Member Directory
GNI has an online Directory, which includes profiles of all the local clubs. GNI uses the contact info listed in your club profile to keep in touch with you. At the club’s option, certain data (such as mailing address, phone number, etc.) may be kept private for official GNI use only.
Each affiliated club may access and maintain its profile in GNI’s online Directory via the log-in near the upper right-hand corner of this screen. providing an easy, instant, and accurate method for it to inform us of any change in contact info and to direct our members, web site visitors, and official communications to it appropriately. If you forget your club’s promotional code for GNI membership rebates, you can look it up in your profile. Each club should designate one or two key personnel to maintain its profile in GNI’s online Directory in order to avoid confusion.
To obtain your club’s username and password, click on Forgot Password? in the upper right-hand corner of this screen and enter the main e-mail address listed in the club’s profile before clicking on submit. The log-in info will be sent to that address in a minute or so. An affiliated club may change its username and/or password from time to time to keep its profile secure.
The Directory also includes an event listing and calendar for GNI and other organizations. (Non-GNI members may log in for access just to the calendar by entering Guest as the username and password.) If an affiliated club would like to publicize its events to GNI members and visitors to our web site, we are glad to post its events as a courtesy. Affiliated clubs may send the particulars of their events to GNI’s Club and Naturist Outreach Liaison.
Branding on GNI club listing
Affiliated clubs may submit their logo and a brief, descriptive write-up (preferably not exceeding 250 words, and subject to editing at GNI’s discretion) for free display on GNI’s online club listing. In lieu of the gay naturist emblem indicating affiliated status, GNI can post a thumbnail of your club’s logo with its listing. An affiliated club may post its blurb in the “Classified” field of its club profile (see club profile section, above) or send the text to the GNI Business Office or Club and Naturist Outreach Liaison.
Reciprocal links: With or without your club’s logo, GNI’s online club listing features a hyperlink to the web site of every included club that has one, to the best of our knowledge. If your club has a web site, we would appreciate your placing on it, if it isn’t already there, a reciprocal link to GNI’s home page (http://www.gaynaturists.org). You may contact the GNI Business Office for help with HTML code or graphics for your link to GNI. Thank you!
If there is any change in logo, send your artwork, or the URL from which it may be copied, and a statement from the appropriate officer permitting GNI to display it on our club listing via e-mail or to our mailing address near the lower left-hand corner of this screen.
GNI participation in local festivals and expos
On a select basis, GNI may provide representation and GNI materials and share the cost of registration for a joint exhibit booth at Pride festivals, expos, or similar events with one or more affiliated clubs. GNI’s financial contribution will vary, depending on how many local clubs share the booth with us at each event.
To the extent possible, GNI will try to have one or more Board or committee members representing GNI. We are also looking to recruit local or regional representatives from among the GNI membership to distribute GNI brochures and/or other handout materials in other venues. Contact the GNI Business Office for literature.
If you would like GNI to consider sharing a booth with your club at a festival or expo, contact GNI’s Club and Naturist Outreach Liaison.
